Plain blades meet or exceed OEM performance standards. Hard-Faced blades have welding material applied to key wear surfaces, typically doubling service life over plain blades. Super-Koat blades undergo a proprietary heat-treating process that provides three or more times the service life of plain blades, making them ideal for highly abrasive environments.

If you operate in moderately abrasive conditions and want to extend blade life beyond plain blades, Hard-Faced is a cost-effective upgrade. For highly abrasive environments — such as rocky or sandy soils — Super-Koat blades are the preferred choice, offering three or more times the service life and lower total replacement costs over time.

Weight varies by blade configuration. Straight mulcher blades weigh approximately 220 lbs per 100 units, while left-hand and right-hand curved mulcher blades weigh approximately 235 lbs per 100 units. These specifications are useful for freight planning when ordering in bulk quantities.
